One of the major fundraisers of the Sandy Run Ruritan Club is the "Community Birthday Calendar".  They are printed by the Gordon Bernard Company.  They have been publishing since 1949.

The calendar is a 12 month calendar, printed especially for our community with the names of the people in the community that purchase a calendar.  There is also advertising from the local businesses in the community on the calendar.  When an individual purchases a calendar, they get to place the dates of their birthdays of their family members, wedding anniversaries, and memorials to their loved ones who have passed away on the calendar.  On the calendar, we also include the dates and time of our Ruritan meetings, local civic club meetings, Boy Scout meetings, Cub Scouts and our local Fire Department. 

Calendars are $5.00 each.  Ad spaces are available also.
