Columbia District, Zone 2 Meeting

Ruritans from the Columbia District, Zone 2, met on July 22, 2004, at the Lower Richland Ruritan Club for a meeting.  Jim Breznay, Zone 2 Governor, presided over the meeting and gave the purpose for having a zone meeting – the first of its kind for Zone 2.

 On behalf of the Columbia District and Ruritan National, Jim presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Betty Geiger, a member of the Sandy Run Ruritan Club, for being selected the 2003 Columbia District Ruritan of the Year.

 Reports were given by each of the clubs in attendance.  Additional reports were given by Columbia District Lieutenant Governor Henri Bishop, 2003 Columbia District Governor Herbert Geiger, and National Director Dave Boney.

 Members attending from the Sandy Run Ruritan Club were Dave Boney, Betty Geiger, Herbert Geiger, Lena Stabler, Marshall Stabler, Becky Starnes, and Gerald Starnes.
