2003 Thanksgiving Dinners

The Sandy Run Ruritan Club and Piccadilly Cafeteria made Thanksgiving a little brighter for three families in the Sandy Run area. Three meals, turkey with all the trimmings, were prepared and delivered on Wednesday, November 26, 2003.  When Piccadilly Cafeteria found out what the Ruritans were doing, they donated one of the meals.  Ruritan members donated canned goods to be included with the Thanksgiving dinners.  Families receiving the dinners and canned goods were very grateful. 

 Special thanks to Piccadilly Cafeteria and the Sandy Run Ruritan Club for helping to make Thanksgiving a little brighter for these three families.  The Ruritan motto of Fellowship, Goodwill, and Community Service was well demonstrated on this day.
