In a joint effort with the American Legion Auxiliary Post 156, the Sandy Run Ruritan Club sponsored two representatives to Palmetto Girls State. Nichole Williams was one of the recipients . She is the daughter of Jimmy and Debra Hoffman and is a rising senior at Swansea High School. Ruritans enjoyed her presentation about Palmetto Girls State.  Rachel Joseph is the daughter of Ed and Kay Joseph and is a rising senior at Swansea High School.  Rachel was unable to attend the meeting.  Congratulations to both of these young people on being selected as Girls State representatives.
