2003 Adopt-A-Family

The Sandy Run Ruritan Club made Christmas for three families in the Sandy Run area a lot brighter this Christmas. The Ruritans adopted nineteen people.  Members purchased clothing, toys, and canned goods for everyone on the list.  The Ruritans would like to thank non-members Ruben Mayer, Precious Mayer, Andrew Yancey, and Lee Yancey for their generous donation of toys, food, and clothing for this project.  When the gifts were delivered, there was a lot of excitement, joy, and smiling faces. The Ruritans who participated received the blessing of the Christmas spirit.
